Facebook a récemment modifié ses conditions d’utilisation. Il fut un temps, c’était déjà assez énorme :
« Vous accordez à Facebook le droit irrévocable, perpétuel, non-exclusif, transférable et mondial (avec l’autorisation d’accorder une sous-licence) d’utiliser, copier, publier, diffuser, stocker, exécuter, transmettre, scanner, modifier, éditer, traduire, adapter, redistribuer n’importe quel contenu déposé sur le site ».
On possédait, malgré ce scandale, la possibilité de tout supprimer :
« Votre contenu d’utilisateur peut être effacé du site à n’importe quel moment. Si vous l’effacez, la droit accordé à Facebook évoqué précédemment expirera automatiquement, mais notez que l’entreprise peut en conserver des copies archivées ».
Mais maintenant, c’est fini ! Cette dernière phrase n’existe plus. Tout article, texte ou photo déposé un jour sur Facebook appartient à ce dernier (pour simplifier les choses).
Un conseil : virez toutes vos créations que vous avez déposées. Désinscrivez-vous aussi, pourquoi pas…

Mais ça veut également dire que tous les liens qu’on publie à coups de “partager avec Facebook” rend le contenu de ces liens propriété de Facebook.
A mon avis, AFP, Reuters, La Tribune, Les Echos, Wall Street Journal, qui écrivent tous sous leur propre copyright vont faire la gueule en découvrant ça, non ?
Le droit français interdit de telles pratiques. Si un jour il y a réellement un problème avec un français, je mets ma main à couper que Facebook sera totalement en tord.
Y a de quoi gratter un max de pognon.

Le problème ? C’est un peu comme Go0gle, Facebook bénéficie d’une large popularité (perso, je boude ce service) et du coup se croit un peu tout permis.

Utilisateur récent ayant dépassé mes préjugés sur ce service, voilà qui me questionne à nouveau sur le bien-fondé de mon choix. Je vais donc surveiller de près les suites données à cette information, je pense qu’il devrait y en avoir.
C’est effectivement à suivre. Facebook vient d’annoncer une révision des conditions d’utilisation afin d’éclaircir les choses sur ce point.
